Highlights from 3 Days of Design 2025 | Echoes of Texture by Linie Design & Karimoku Case
Today I’m continuing my round-up from this year’s 3 Days of Design in Copenhagen with a look at Echoes of Texture – a joint exhibition from Danish rug maker Linie Design and Japan-based furniture and lifestyle brand Karimoku Case . I’ll be honest: I knew little about Linie Design before my visit, and it was Karimoku Case’s name that originally drew me to the exhibition . But its beautiful range of handcrafted rugs instantly captured my attention and it ended up being one of my favourite discoveries from the festival. It turns out Linie has been going since 1980, primarily producing rugs for other companies before shifting its focus towards designing and selling collections under its own name. It opened its brand store (where the exhibition took place) in a stunning period townhouse on Bredgade in the heart of the Danish capital in 2024, and its rugs are now available in more than 70 countries worldwide.
